A first project that emerged from the alliance between Iruña Tecnologías de Automatización and Hirudi Sistemas 3D is the study of Additive Manufacturing materials and techniques to create specific tools for certification, installation and use in COBOTS. These should meet the industrial requirements of cost, utility and durability, but also guarantee the safety required by these robotic arms that work in spaces shared with a human worker.
In a second phase, we will provide these connectivity tools with the robotized cell, so that they transfer information both for their predictive maintenance and to seek greater versatility of use with different equipment.

BREAZ is a startup changing how respiratory diagnostics are performed. We are creating a novel solution for the detection and monitoring of chronic respiratory disease, starting with COPD. In 2019, we enrolled for a POCU funding and won it. They’ve designed two new systems: the first one, PURETOP, is floating plastic layer formed by hexagons that neutralizes pollutant emissons from wastewater through solar radiation in a chemical process called photocatalysis. The second one, W4F, is a biocide that disinfects water. It’s based on hypochlorus acid and is far more potent than any other chlor-based biocide known. They’ve designed a special reactor that produces this reactive agent.
